DUE to the large number of entries Wilton was also able to run five intermediate sections divided over two days.
French Rider Sidney Dufresne snatched the top spot in section J on Joanne Bridgman’s Quincey, a ride he only took over from his mentor Mark Todd at the beginning of july.
Sidney, 23 has come to th UK to train with Mark, who is already impressed with his ability.
“This is only the second time he’s competed on this horse,” Mark said. “They finished second at Tweseldown the first time out. Sidney is a very talented rider and he’s planning to stay here at least until the end of this season.”
